Our church began near downtown San Diego in 1982, and over the years, we have become a diverse congregation dedicated to sharing the Good News with a hefty dose of love, especially for those who might fall through the cracks in larger congregations.

In 2000, we expanded our outreach to the San Marcos area. By January 1, 2009, we merged our two congregations into one, totaling just under 100 adults, and eventually moved to our current location in Poway.

Our community is wonderfully diverse, consisting of Caucasians, Hispanics, Indigenous Mexican peoples, Filipinos, and refugees from various African countries. We celebrate a rich tapestry of languages, including English, Spanish, French, Swahili, Lingala, Mixteco, Chatino, and Amuzgo. Our small size and personal work within the group affords us the opportunity to minister to the needs of the lost and needy on the most basic of levels.

We aspire for all men and women to attain the spiritual perfect stature in Christ. This journey leads to the manifestation of the sons of God and ultimately brings about the Rapture.

A Church of Love: To create a church that shows love to all, with a motto, No law but love, No creed but Christ, No Book but the Bible!
Welcoming Atmosphere: Where care is expressed to everyone that enters the doors.
Reverence and Spirituality: Where an atmosphere of reverence, spirituality and prayer abounds and the gifts can operate in order.
Evangelism in the Spirit: A place where Jesus Christ is presented to sinners in the Power of the Holy Spirit that men can come to total repentance be delivered, from carnal and spiritual sin, the sick healed, the downtrodden uplifted, and the hungry fed.
Faith and Fellowship: Where through the Gospel men may put their trust in God through Jesus Christ, to accept Him as their Savior and Serve Him as their King in the fellowship of His church.
Scriptural Foundation: A place where the Word of God has the preeminence and therefore preached and taught and the Holy Spirit can operate freely in the hearts and in the daily lives of the people.
Perfect Worship: A place where perfect worship can be expressed.
Support for Families: A place where the natural needs of mothers and children can both be met without conflict.
Inclusive Community: A community where no one feels left out and people feel at liberty to express themselves, naturally, spiritually, and openly.
Unlocking Potential: Create a climate that enables the people of God to unleash their full potential.
Soul Winning: A place where the main goal in the mind of the members is to win souls for Christ and thus feel they have found shelter.
